User Management
User Management tool gives you the ability to create, modify and delete user accounts. This can be accessed from the nesstar server home page (<your-server-name>/nesstar/ ) or directly at <your-server-name>/admin/
Create an User Account

- Enter User Name, User-ID and Password
- Select the role (class) from the dropdown.
- Add note
- Click on 'Create'.
One can also automate User Account creation.
Modify an User Account

- To change the label, type the new label.
- The userid can not be modified.
- To change the password, type the new password (minimum 6 characters).
- To change the classes of the user:
- to add a new class, select the new class from the ones available in the server.
- to remove a class, select one of the current user's classes.
- If a set of purposes is defined in the server, an extra parameter will be displayed.
Users can have one or more purposes. To change the purposes of the user:
- to add a new purpose, select the new purpose from the ones available in the server.
- to remove a purpose, select one of the current user's purposes.
- To change a comment, enter the new comment in the comment box.
- Click on Update to save your changes.
Delete an User Account

- Find the user you want to delete
- Click on the Delete button next to the user that is to be removed.
